Compounds in this page are presented in three different formats. Gif, brookhaven protein data bank (pdb) and ChemDraw. The pdb format allows you to view, rotate the molecules in 3D plus many other 3D features. To be able to see the molecule in 3D you need to have Java script software installed in your computer.

The ChemDraw format allows you to edit and copy the structure and paste into ChemDraw or any other compatible document. To be able to use this feature, you need to download the free ChemDraw ActiveX/Plugin Net Users from Cambridgesoft. It is important to note that if you already have Chemoffice installed in your computer and you install the ChemDraw activeX/Plugin you might have problem to view the molecule with Internet Explorer and the browser will freeze. We have checked this with Firefox and Google Chrome and it works fine even if you have Chemoffice already installed. It works with Internet Explorer fine but only when Chemoffice was not installed. We would like to stress that this is not a problem in the Pherobase.
